Look Out Below…

A huge US spy satellite is, as we speak, falling out of orbit and will come crashing to Earth in either February or March. But don’t worry, folks, according to a spokesman for the National Security Council, “Appropriate government agencies are monitoring the situation.” Oh, that makes me feel better.

Wait, no it doesn’t. First off, I’m willing to bet that these “government agencies” are all located deep within some sort of underground bunker. So their level of concern about a huge US spy satellite falling from the sky is probably a little different than mine. And second, what does “monitoring” mean? Monitoring as in, “if it does fall, we’ll blow it out of the sky and prevent anything bad from happening,” or does it mean, “Yup. Here it comes. RUN!!!”? Just curious.

And people tell me that I’m the mad scientist! Right.
